Home Health Aide Training (HHA)

What is a Home Health Aide?

 A Home Health Aide (HHA) is a trained professional who provides personal care and support to patients in their homes or healthcare settings, assisting with activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship.

Our HHA program is 14 days of in-person classroom and hands-on training and is considered the next level or upgraded version of the PCA program. It is designed for those who want to expand their skills and take on more advanced responsibilities in patient care.

Is everything included in the price?

What do we include?

 Our Home Health Aide (HHA) class includes everything you need to succeed: uniform, book, equipment, and tools that you will use during the training. We are proud to offer the best tuition value in New York State.

The total cost of the program is $700. To enroll, you pay $50 for registration, $350 on the first day of class, and the remaining $300 halfway through the course. The course lasts 16 days for weekday sessions.

For weekend sessions (around 7 weekends, Saturday and Sunday), the payment plan is the same: $50 to register, $350 on the first day, and $300 on the fourth weekend.

For your convenience, we accept cash, credit/debit cards, checks, and money orders.

Note: There's a 72 hours to come and complete registration IN-PERSON otherwise your spot is dropped and given to someone else. This option is only available as long as it’s not within 2–3 days before the class start date. If you wish to register within that short timeframe, we require that you are 100% certain you will be joining the class.

 No, our course is not free. The total fee is $700, which includes registration and tuition. You pay $50 for registration and the remaining $350 on the first day of class. Then 300 halfway of the course.


You do not receive your license immediately after completing the course. It can take up to 10 business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) for your official certification to be issued.


YES, for the HHA you must have a physical exam(we provide the form) and high school diploma/GED is required to enroll in the HHA program, making it accessible for anyone interested in starting a healthcare career quickly.


You can submit your documents to us, and we will review them for completeness. If anything is missing, we will guide you on what steps to take. If you have all required documents, including our form, we will accept them. Please note: if you have all results but not our specific form, the physical or related document will not be accepted.

Additionally, please ensure your documents meet the following validity requirements:

  • Physical exam: must be from within the past year
     
  • Drug test: valid for 6 months
     
  • Immunizations: valid for 1 year
     
  • Quantiferon (TB test): valid for 1 year
     
  • X-ray: valid for 3 years
     

This ensures compliance with program and state requirements while keeping your documentation current.


NOT PROBLEM AT ALL! In LTD we believe that everyone deserve the same opportunities. If you did not finish high school or completed it in another state, you can take the Wonderlic exam, which serves to meet the requirement.

If you finished high school in another country, we provide an affidavit (sworn statement) that you can take to a notary to confirm that you completed high school, even if you do not have the diploma. This allows you to meet the eligibility requirements for our programs.


 We accept cash, Zelle, credit and debit cards (physical cards only, no Apple Pay), checks, and money orders. 


 The HHA course runs Monday through Friday, giving students a structured schedule to complete the training efficiently. if you are doing during the weekends is only weekends.


 No, our HHA course is not offered online. All training is conducted in-person, including classroom instruction and hands-on practice.
