What is a Home Health Aide?
A Home Health Aide (HHA) is a trained healthcare professional who provides personal care and support to patients in their homes or healthcare settings. HHAs assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship, ensuring patients receive safe and compassionate care.
Our CNA to HHA Transition Program is designed specifically for Certified Nursing Assistants who want to expand their credentials and work in home care settings. The course is completed in 11–13 days, depending on the schedule, and builds upon your existing CNA knowledge while focusing on the additional skills and responsibilities required for home health care.
At Lincoln Trade School, we provide all necessary materials, uniforms, and equipment as part of your tuition. You will receive both classroom instruction and hands-on training to ensure you are fully prepared to meet state requirements and confidently begin your career as a Home Health Aide.

What do we include?
Our CNA to Home Health Aide (HHA) Transition Program includes everything you need to succeed: uniform, book, equipment, and all training tools used during the course. We are proud to offer one of the best tuition values in New York State.
The total cost of the Transition Program is $800. To enroll, you pay $50 for registration, and the remaining $750 is divided into two payments of $375 during the course.
